Sarvarbek Zafarzhonov - two-time vice-world champion Tashkent-2021
The World Weightlifting Championship among adults continues in Tashkent. Today our young athlete Sarvarbek Zafarjonov fought for medals in the weight category up to 89 kg.
Our compatriot won silver medals with a score of 205 kg in the snatch and 371 kg in the sum of two exercises. The gold award is taken home by South Korean Dongju Yu.

1. Dongju Yu (South Korea– - 371 (167+204) kg
2. Sarvarbek Zafarzhonov (Uzbekistan) - 371 (166+205) kg
3. Revaz Davitadze (Georgia) – 370 (171+199) kg.
